Groups

The various animal welfare groups are the heart and soul of the community.  They take many forms. 

Some specialize in rescuing animals that are in their last minutes before their lives are ended.  Others work to transport animals from one environment to another location where a forever home awaits them.  There are those who create a shelter where animals who are “unadoptable” because of disease or temperament are taken and given the opportunity to live out their natural lives in an environment of love and caring.  Or maybe they help provide for medical care that a guardian could not otherwise provide and thus the animal’s quality of life would be diminished if not put to an end altogether. 

Regardless of their role, they each are key players in transforming our world into one where animals are protected and treated with compassion.  This is your opportunity to support these organizations. 

On the pages in this section you will find a complete listing of all of the organizations that are participating in our program.  The organizations are broken down into categories of the type of service they provide.  Each organization is listed along with a description of what they do and a link to their web site for more information. 

Please select one of these organizations as the recipient of the donation that will be made on your behalf.  All donations must be given to groups who are included on these pages.  Our intention is not to exclude groups who fulfill a role in the animal welfare community, but to make attempts to try to insure that the groups that the funds are going to are legitimate groups.
